The music came suddenly, and was in line with suspenseful scenes. The music went from solemn and suspenseful to upbeat. 1:00, when the Millennium Falcon came into view. Hardcuts. Alex Haston.
The music seems to try and show that it is not attempting to copy the original Star Wars, but add to it, showing the differences in the darker tone in the beginning, then following it up with the Millennium Falcon mixed with famous SW music. The music changed as you see a shot of the Millennium Falcon Dark, quieter, silent music/audio Brandon J Shea
It adds suspense to what's going to happen next. It changes when they get to the dark side. When it went from lighter to darker. Upside down. Hunter Feldbush
The music in the beginning is very slow, builds up slowly, and it took me a bit to notice that there was actually music, but it pauses for a bit and moves to the millennium falcon, which is where the music became more suspenseful. They used hardcuts in this, as well as fading.
