The lighting was a bit odd, however I realized that the lighting has to do with helping the colors stand out a bit more, as well as the background. I honestly think that using a bit of light, but using the grey floor and wall, helped make the colors stand out the most. The singer has much brighter, sparkling clothing in order to contrast with the dancer, who all wore dull base colors. They filmed it with a camera possibly mounted above in the building to get that overhead shot, s this seems to be older and before using drones for photography.
